SL and I are in Hong Kong Airport now, waiting for flight to Malaysia at 3pm, it is a long waiting time for this flight that we need to spend eight hours in Hong Kong Airport from 7am to 3pm. That is normal for the flight from US and going to Penang with Cathay Pacific, SL and I both experienced it spending time alone once last year, it was really miserable to us. However, it is different now because we spent this time together that we don't feel lonely now. After our flight from San Francisco arrived to Hong Kong Airport at 6:30am, we decided to go out from the immigration to taste Hui Lau Shan Dessert just outside the immigration, which I hoped to do it last time but I didn't as that even made me felt lonely to take dessert alone. This afternoon, I had a small pleasure chattering with two friends, three of us are having the same experience on our current job changes, that our husband are on relocation assignment and we have to change our team for following them to here. Somehow I feel our similarity experience connects us and make me feel closer with them. Due to this, it remind me something happened last year. In March last year, SL was told that he got chance to go for relocation in US, that made me fought so hard during that period to follow him here. However, "cruel fact" told us that we were from different product teams and we couldn't work in the same site. Then I just forced to use all my annual leaves plus unpaid leaves to visit SL on my first visit and planned for taking permanent leave of absent on my next visit, no matter how long I need to take off and I surely would spend the winter with SL together until his assignment ends, this was our promise. I was watching movie Bridget Jones' Diaries with SL tonight, it's a movie that I first watched in 2005, when I was in the UK. Just like a fairy tale, the story is about how a girl met her perfect guy at her 30s, how she got hurt by her first love and then met the right person finally. This movie reminded me some memory in the UK, I was alone there for about two years, just like Bridget Jones was single for 30 years of her life (well I am better with 25 years record :P), a girl kept waiting for her true love, just like staying in her dream of fairy tale. While she got hurt, she still had her principle and finally she met her true love, Mark. It was just a dream for every girl. And, I felt that I am so fortune to meet SL finally. Thanks God.

This morning, SL received a news from my in-law, said that our new apartment is ready for keys collection, though it might be only a VP (means we can see it but no touching allow), we still feel happy enough for this news. After relocation, we reserved our only home trip from going back during Chinese New Year for two reasons, one is to take my in-laws here during spring (so that they won't feel too cold) and second is to bet that we can collect our new apartment's keys, at least we can see how it looks like and whether we can purchase some furnitures or decorations from here. Finally, two of our wishes are almost granted (well, I only count it if we have done it), and we ease our worrisome for last few weeks after we booked our home trip tickets. Yahoo!! The last weekend and the last day of February, SL and I just found the weather was so good for us to have a day trip and Fort Vancouver just came out from our mind. Yes, why not we just went there for a break? Though we read there is only a fort there, we just want to have a trip, even just spent half a day there. After lunch, we took action immediately and headed to Fort Vancouver in Washington, it was about an hour driving distance from our apartment. Wow, it was a good day, sunny and beautiful sky, SL took a lot of pictures for the sky there, natural is so nice, I like the clear sky and wide feild there, it allowed us to walk together. Unfortunately, the aviation mesuem was closed on Sunday, therefore we only visited the Fort Vancouver National History Site, we paid USD5 for entrance fee and the ticket can last for seven days though we only used it for a day visit (can I get refund for the other six days?? :P) There are several buildings/parts inside Fort Vancouver: Blacksmith Shop,...

It's Saturday again, this is the last Saturday for us before our home trip, it will be a busy weekend for us because we need to do packing and shopping for gifts. Well, we spent most of our time at outside today and will stay at home at Sunday to do our packing. Last time, we heard that is a Greek restaurant from a friend that made us interested to try, it's today. Mad Greek Deli is the nearest Greek restaurant (should be considered as cafe instead :P) in our area. As we read review online about this restaurent, it is kind of dirty, it is special of this restaurant to us that we could find their cushions are broken, which we assumed they purposely made it. The shop look old and disorganised, perhaps this is Greek style. Also, we could see a picture on wall, it is a scence of Greek. Recently, that is a long lost friend added me in facebook, we haven't contact each other since 2005, it was about 5 years time (wow... how time is ticking so fast?) In my memory, she was such a friendly girl, she is one of my friends that I met in the UK and she backed to Korea at end of 2005, she did travel with me to Prague, which was my first ever Europe trip out of the UK. Because of our Prague trip, I started like travelling, especially planned for my own trip even though I was travelling alone around several Europe countries, I still found it enjoy. When we were in the UK, Regina and I used to meet at Global Cafe, that is where we met until be some level of close friend, she was one of the friends made me felt warm in a foreign land.
