After a month plus back to Penang, I finally wait till the day of HomeDec, so... that I can wander around Pisa and peek for something worth for my new home, yippy, it's tomorrow and over the weekend. Hopefully I can find something nice :) We went to our house every day since we back, SL is really happy when seeing some progress on our renovation, thanks to our main contractor.

Finally, that is a little progress on our new house, we were so excited when seeing the wall has built up gradually, now waiting for wireman to do wiring. Well, it is still a long way to go until we move in, but at least we can feel the day is closer now. Hopefully, we can see some progress everyday, else we will feel down. I really want to have a home as soon as possible because I am old now.

Since last post, I didn't update my blog for nearly a month, because I was really busy for my new house renovation stuff, but sadly that is progress slow which isn't as what I expected :( After about 3 weeks survey on different contractors and specilist on different area, finally we found our main contractor for doing our new house renovation, however he is on vacation for last two weeks, this lead to slow progress on our renovation :( Hopefully, it will progress fast after he is back because I can't wait longer to move in, I really want to have my own house as I am old now and I wish to have my life relax in a leisure house. Prehaps, SL and I had enjoyed a lot of two people world since in US, therefore we both found inconvenience with the life without our own house, I can't cook whenever I like, I can't bake my favourite cake during weekend, I can't just sit at living hall and watching TV for the whole day. We found especially hard to spend our weekend, because...

We are just back to Penang, but we spent a really busy week here, for our new home, looking for interior designer and renovation people, then we are also looking for furniture and electric device, it was a tired week for us and I wish that we can just stay at home after we got our new home complete. Well, I was just thinking too optimistic previously, actually it is really a tough period from an empty house to home sweet home, everything talks about money. A lot of apartment and condominium in Malaysia do not come with perfect design, we need to do hacking to fully utilize the space, hacking needs money. After hacking, surely you need to rebuild wall and putting new tiles, that one also needs money. Then, you need to renovate and beautify your home, and this one even needs a lot of money. In the meanwhile, you need to consider piping, wiring and floorplan, it a headache if you didn't plan it before move in and it also needs money. No matter build in or just simply furnishing, kitch...

Finally, I am back, this is the first day that I am in Malaysia, the first thing that made me feel uncomfortable is too hot here, I can sweat the whole day, which I didn't have that feeling for a year. Well, I don't mind sweat but I hate my skin feels sticky, now I hope to return to office sooner, so that I can enjoy air conditioner there. I back on winter, which is the coldest season in a year, and I complained a lot about it coldness and I need to wear a thick jacket which make me feel I am fat. But now, I am back, I don't need winter cloth anymore, but I need to bear with hot weather and burning sun, then I complain again. I think I don't like to be too hot but neither too cold, well... that is no place suitable for me :P

And now, I am on my way return to Malaysia after about a year stay at another country, that is kind of mixed feeling inside myself, something happy, something sad, but I think I just make it as usual, c'est la vie, our life keeps changing. I am happy that I can see my friends and my family again, I will be in a place that I familiar and start my life without too much limitation. We can own our house and develop our next generation. Hopefully, my skin will not crack too much in a moisture land. There we can think more about our future, what we want to plan next. However, I am sad as well for leaving, though my skin cracked I still like the dry weather, that I won't sweat when I walked on the street. I suddenly like the lazy sun, so that I won't get too much sun burn. Also, our life in US is worriless, there is more secured and our expenses are more under control. Changing life, somehow I am worried but it cannot escape, I think I called 2010 as our honey year, perhaps it...

Today is our pack and load our shipment, now our apartment is almost empty, except those we need to hand carry back and those we cannot ship. During shipment survey, the surveyer told us that we actually just took half of space and still can fill more. But, when the packer came, then they told us that we got a lot of stuff and they might not able to take them all. Oh no, that made us felt tension, suddenly regret to ship that speakers. Anyways, finally they took about 4 hours for packing and loading, then our stuffs just perfectly fitted into the provided space, sweat~~~ Then, we make conclusion that sometime surveyer maybe will provide optimistic calculated the space to be used, we only can tell how much space will exactly use during pack and load day, therefore we shouldn't feel too happy when not too much space be used on shipment survey day.
