Penang State Anthem
现在的翔已经很会唱马来西亚的国歌了，因此晚上他常常会要求我唱“槟城的Negaraku”（也就是槟城州歌）给他听，遗憾的是我不是槟城人，对槟城的州歌一点印象都没有，所以每次翔要求我唱给他听时，我都会说我不会唱，要去公司找朋友教我唱。
只是，这样的烂借口是不能用太久嘛，不然孩子就会觉得你根本就没诚意教他唱了，所以这星期我就下定决心的要学唱槟城州歌，我就找了我一位叫Youtube的朋友来教我唱，可能是我老了吧，要听上很多回才可以记得那么的一点点，而且旋律也唱得怪怪的，而且记歌词也记得蛮吃力的，有时唱着唱着还会忘记接下来是怎么唱了。
我好不容易的勉强把大多数的旋律和歌词给记下来了，几天前我带翔到公园散步时，就唱了前面几句，结果翔就这样问我：“你已经跟office的朋友学唱槟城的Negaraku了？”哦，没想到他还一直记得我制造的烂借口，我说是的，结果那天开始他就常常的要求我唱槟城州歌给他听，还会要我一句一句的教他唱，而他也可以记得其中的几句歌词了。唉，小孩的学习能力怎么这么强啊，让我不得不自叹自己老了。
看来，我要更仔细的学这槟城州歌了，免得教错，现在开始有点觉得自己是槟城人了（只是，我还不会说福建话）。
p.s:突然一个晚上，翔突然间要求我唱外婆家的国歌，也就是柔佛的州歌，哇，怎么这么多挑战啊？虽然，小时候我常常唱这州歌，只是我也有停唱二十年了吧，都已经忘记了，看来下一首要学的歌是柔佛州歌了，那个称为再学习。
Nowadays, Samuel can sing Malaysia National Anthem very well, therefore he often requests me sing “Negaraku of Penang State”(which is Penang State Athem) to him, too bad that I am not coming from Penang, so I totally have no idea how to sing this song. Therefore, every time Samuel as me to sing Penang State Anthem to him, I just told him that I don’t know how to sing and need to find my friends in office to teach me.
However, I know this kind of bad excuse cannot be used too much, else kids will feel you never want to teach him sincerely, right? So , I decided to learn Penang State Anthem by this week, then I asked a friend of mine who named “Youtube” to teach me. Perhaps, I am old now, so I need to listen to the song for many times just to remember a little bit of it, and I still feel weird on the song that I sing, it is also hard to me fully remember the whole lyrics, sometimes I even will forget how to proceed the next line.
Finally, I am able to remember most of the song and its lyrics, and I sang a few lines when I was going out with Samuel walking in a park, then Samuel asked me: “you have asked your friend in office taught you to sing Negaraku of Penang State?” Oh, he still remembered my excuse all the while, then I told him yes. And then, start from that day, he always requests me to sing Penang State’s Anthem (instead of Malaysia National Anthem), sometimes he even asked me to teach him sing line by line and he even can remember some lines now. Sigh, kids’ ability of learning is so amazing, now I can’t deny that I am old already.
And now, I think I need to learn this Penang State Anthem properly, to avoid if I teach Samuel wrongly, and now I can feel that I am living in Penang and start became a Penang kia (well, I still don’t know Hokkien).
There was a night, Samuel suddenly requested me to sing “Negaraku of grandma’s state”, oh no, how come there is more and more challenges to come? Though I sang it frequently during my school time, but I have stopped singing it for almost 20 years, and I totally forgot how to sing the song, I think Johor State Anthem will be my next target, this is so called relearning =.=”
