Day 2 in Hong Kong (16/3/2008 Tsim Sha Tsui)

We woke up at early morning, and walked around at the Dai Yu Shan, the air there is fresh and make us feeling good at this country side. The cable car service will only open at 10am, therefore that is no much people yet, we suddenly felt that we made the right choice to stay a night here because we can see this area with peace and nobody would disturb us.

After walking for a while, we tried to find a place to settle our breakfast and we found a shop nearby. We take a bolw of instant noodle and a cup of tea for each, this costed us for HK$60, this cought us surprise at the first time in Hong Kong, this is too expensive. Well... we didn't have choice and paid for the price.

After that, we took a walk around Ngong Ping Market, there is no much people yet, but only some workers, we bought a box of rose tealeft there (because we recently have habit on drinking tea). Then we walked around to Tian Tan buddha there. SL bought two bracelets for his parents.
We went to a bamboo garden and took a look there before lunch. Those bamboo were written with a lot of words from a scripture, and the view is really beautiful.

After that, we took our lagguages from the hostel and took our lunch at a vegetarian restaurant, the lunch costed use HK$60 each person, this is quite expensive and that is nothing special on their dish. From now on, we started feeling Hong Kong's food is horrible expensive, I think they living cost is quite high then.

After lunch, we departed to our second hotel at Tsim Sha Tsui, it is close to a MTR station and we felt it is quite convinience for our transportation. But the room is quite small until it is only available for two people stand on the walkway and no much space to have further move. However, we know this is Hong Kong, their land is too small for so many people.

After took a short rest in our room, we went out for food hunting and decided to have our dinner at McDonald because we spent too much on breakfast and lunch on the day. In Hong Kong McDonald we able to order a pork burger, which we could never have in Malaysia, this is a different experience in McDonald too and the pork burger is delicious :)

After dinner, we took a walk along Avenue of Star, and we able to find many stars' handprints on the road, we took several handprints, which are our favourite stars, SL took a picture near to Jacky Cheung, who is his favorite singer, SL's voice also is quite close to Jacky Chueng's style :P

This is handprint of Andy Lau, below is Jacky Cheung.

It is around 7:30pm, we started to find a good location for us to see the show of Symphony of Light, this is a special show from Hong Kong, with lighting programming from the buildings along the River of Hong Kong at different tempo, and create a fantastic performance, this is a must-see performance if you are visiting Hong Kong. SL was taking the camcorder and recorded all the Symphony of Light for 15 minutes, we are still enjoyed with this performance even we back to Malaysia.

This JVC band camcorder is my hubby SL bought for me, he said it is for my birthday gift, but I know this is because he loves me a lot, this is really difficult to have such a good husband, I need to remember always cherish him and love him :D

With the camcorder, our journey was so special, because we are abled to record those sweet moment during our trip, and share our joy even after we back to our home.

This video shows the beginning of the Symphony of Light, it is started with introducing building along the River of Hong Kong, the building will be blicking their light while the name is called, just look like waiving to us.

This video is cut from a part of Symphony of Light performance, I am kind of like the building with many triangle lighting, it is the most attractive and active building from my point of view.
