PBIM 2011

Penang Bridge is closed each year for public to have marathon there, it was happened on 20 November this year, so coincident it was 20.11.2011.

SL and I were undecisive to join or not for the marathon actually, but we finally went for fun run finally that day, surely it was fun, our main purpose to join marathon this year was to take good picture on the bridge since this is the only chance that you can stop on the bridge and take photos from any angle that you want, of course it's the best chance for having some nice photo sessions.

Early morning, SL had his weapons (DSLR and flash) well prepared for his photos shooting, and we joined the fun run which only run quarter of the bridge from Eastin hotel and ended at Queensbay mall. Well, we progressed slow on bridge as SL spent quite some time there for capturing some good photos, I am also enjoyed the view of Penang Bridge.

At the starting of the bridge, there we saw the construction site of the light collection, it will be a good location to view the Penang Bridge for that direction. On the bridge we walked slowly and there were a lot of people wore yellow shirt (fun run T-shirt) and ran, sure a good view, I nearly felt touched with their energy on finishing the 10km race.

After all photos taking, we were still able to finish the route within required time, which grow our confident to join competition category next year :P

Overall, I think this Penang Bridge International Marathon was well organised, there even had a place to store your bag so that you can run without any burden and you can collect your things after race. As in my memory, this is my first time seeing this storage stand set (well, I have skipped PBIM for two years). Besides, the organizer also have pretty good logistic arrangement to direct the flow, this needed a lot of planning.

We didn't wait till lucky draw and backed home as we didn't trust our luck, I think there were three nice photos from SL from the day, well some might need editing to beautifice it :)

在网上有人推荐说Suspend Junior不错，是可以锻炼孩子的fine motor skill的游戏，而翔最近开始很喜欢玩桌游，所以我就买了来给翔玩。 其实，这游戏很简单，就是把所有手上的枝条挂上去又不把其他的枝条弄掉，最先那所有的枝条用完的人为赢家。不过，这看似简单的桌游，却需要孩子的分析，判断，和眼手协调的能力才能够完成。 刚开始的时候，翔还抓不到窍门，所以一直失败，后来经樑的解说后，他也会了，昨晚和我玩的时候，还一直教我要怎么玩才能不让枝条掉下，很好笑的画面。 这Suspend Junior还算好玩，但对于已经了解平衡原理的大人而言，算是没什么挑战性了，不过对孩子而言又是另一个不错的桌游。 其实，还蛮希望翔可以和他的朋友们一起玩的，小孩子们自己玩应该会更好玩吧。

最后一天

今天是我最后一天不间断的陪着芹了，明天她就要到保姆家了，依然一直黏着我的芹还不知道她的生活将起变化吧。 最近的芹因为刚学会翻身，结果就不停的翻，所以常常都很难入眠，必须一直像树熊一样的紧黏着我才可以比较安然的入睡，不知道她去了保姆家会怎样，可以睡好吗?会想念我吗? 其实，前两个星期就已经开始bottle training了，可是到现在芹都无法接受用奶瓶喝奶，我们也已经放弃了，不知道她到了保姆家可以乖乖的使用奶瓶吗?希望一切顺利吧。 其实，还真的是有点舍不得离开芹，我告诉朋友说自己是母爱泛滥的妈妈，喜欢陪着孩子长大，一步一脚印的陪着他们走过童年，但到了现在我依然没做到，希望孩子们长大后不会怪我吧。 芹，妈咪真的是很爱你哦。

国歌和州歌

翔的学校，每天都有升旗里，并会唱国歌和州歌，我还问翔升旗里是什么时候发生的，他说是在报道了在可是玩了一会儿之后，才出去外面一起assembly，他们会升两面旗，一面旗唱一首歌，我想那就是国歌和州歌了。 所以，最近翔常常会要求我们唱国歌给他听，只是唱国歌对我们的记忆已经是很遥远的了，当然我们还可以记得一些，但是并不完整，所以就google了国歌来学学，现在的翔已经会唱零零碎碎的国歌了。 只是，我们都不是槟城人，当然是不会唱州歌啦（而我们自己州属的州歌也全忘了），于是也google了槟城的州歌来听听，并要求翔确认。 看来，我们要记得这两首歌了，这样才可以教翔唱一唱。 Negaraku: Negaraku, Tanah tumpahnya darahku, Rakyat hidup, bersatu dan maju, Rahmat bahagia, Tuhan kurniakan, Raja kita, Selamat bertakhta!
