US visa photo
Due to SL backed to Muar directly just after he arrived to Penang, therefore he didn't have chance to take an US visa photo in Penang, which I believe Penang photographer would be more experience on taking US visa picture.
Then, we just went to the biggest studio in Muar for his picture taken at the day of his arrival, that we thought they would know more or less on the spec.
However, we found that the studio did some touched up on SL's face after we got the picture, which I just found that SL became handsome in the photo. Well, there is not allowed for any touch up on visa photo, so that we returned to the studio and requested them to retake another picture for him without any touch up, and they are willing to do that.
There was another problem on the photo again when SL was checking on his visa application documents, that the studio has his and my in-law's faces were oversize as given from US visa photo specification.
Again, we visited the studio for another time on requested them to rescale their face to meet the spec, their service was good that they were still willing to redo for us though I think they need to be more sensitive on the spec. Finally, we all had a qualified photo for our visa interview.
Actually, it is really specified on US visa photo because they need to have it printed on the visa with full face on it, therefore we need to make sure our photos meet the spec.
