my plant
One more plant out today, I think I am not a good gardener as I don't see any plant can grow healthy under my hand, is any curse on my plant? Or any curse on my gardener's hand?
Again, I brought another plant out from my cube and back to home today :( They are almost faded, I really couldn't believe that they change so much from the day I bought them with today's appearance, one of them is totally dried (means died), another one is almost faded and fortunately one left like newly buy. Oh no... my cactus :'(
Actually, this is not my first failure, I did fail a lot of them to grow a plant in office, I bought them happily and grew them, but they were faded just in short period.
This cactus actually is lucky enough as I think they live around half year in my cube already, hmm... I should feel better, right? :P I still remember I was kidding with SL last, that I still can have a bowl if they all died. Well... I actually got enough bowl, so my little cute cute cactus, please be strong, don't die.
I think I am too optimistic, because I didn't believe my cactus (the red topping one) was going to die at first when I saw the symptom. When the red cap started changing its colour to brown, I even told myself that it was blossoming soon =.=" Then, it started turn to black and I told myself that is a process @_@. Unfortunately, all my optimistic doesn't come trun, then the red cap cactus just went dry and died finally :'(
Well, I told myself that I got another two cactus are still alive at least, so I should be happy :) However, my optimistic doesn't last too long, as the other one just collapsed during the weekend, and I wonder if it collapsed at the same time when my car in accident.
Sometimes, I would have this kind of weird belief, I believe that plant actually can sense their owner's feeling, they would grow perfectly when their owner always take care of them and always be happy while they would fade when their owner just ignore them and in depress. Haha... am I strange? I also believe that your plant would grow healthy if you always tell them "I love you" :P
Last time, I was really down for a period as SL was not around with me, then one of my plants is starting faded, its leaves are started drying. At first, I just told myself this is a normal phenomena, plants do need to grow, then the old leaves needed to die for young leaves. However, I was worried when I saw that was only a leaf left at last, I finally convinced myself that is a dangerous sign. Then I quickly moved it back to home. And now, there are a few leaves grow from my plant and it becomes healtier now.
In conclusion, I think my office actually is not a suitable environment to grow a plant, plant couldn't live longer without sufficient sunlight, my cube is fully away from sun explosion, this is the worst case to plants.
